Optimize Your Time with Lightroom, Canva, InShot, CapCut, and Beatleap

apps for creating content

Social media has become an integral part of our lives, both personally and professionally. Let’s discover the lifesaving apps for creating content on social media.

Creating high-quality content is crucial to engaging your audience and standing out from the crowd. But what happens when you have little time or limited resources for content production? This is where lifesaving apps come into play.

After years of research, I’ve curated a folder of indispensable apps for content creation and beyond. I’ve tried over a hundred apps, subscribed to countless memberships, and spent a fortune, but today the ones I can’t do without can be counted on one hand, and I wouldn’t know what to do without them.

Here they are! You can also click on the app names to check out their websites.

1. Lightroom for iPhone

Photography is a crucial element in creating engaging social media content. Adobe Lightroom for iPhone is a powerful app that allows you to edit your photos professionally right from your mobile device. With advanced tools for adjusting exposure, color, and contrast, you can quickly transform your images into masterpieces. Additionally, Lightroom offers a wide range of presets that simplify the editing process, saving you precious time.

Personally, I consider this app the best among those I will list next. However, it is also the most professional one, requiring some basic knowledge of photography and editing.

So, among the lifesaving apps for creating social media content, this is the most complex to use but also the most high-performing.

Graphic design is another important aspect of creating visual content for social media. Canva is an intuitive and versatile app that allows you to easily create captivating graphics, from cover images to story posts. With a vast library of templates, graphic elements, and fonts, you can quickly customize your designs to fit your brand. Additionally, Canva offers a mobile version of the app, making it even easier to work from anywhere.

I use the pro version at €11.99 per month, but if you’re satisfied with a slightly limited gallery of fonts and images, and while you’re just starting out, the free version is perfectly fine. You can always upgrade later.

Creating engaging videos is crucial for many social platforms. InShot is a mobile video editing app that offers a range of powerful tools to enhance your footage. You can trim, merge, add transitions and special effects, as well as adjust the audio and add background music. InShot simplifies the process of creating captivating videos directly from your phone.

I am a huge fan of the “reverse” button.

Another video editing app you should know about is CapCut. With CapCut, you can create professional videos with ease. The app offers advanced editing features, including adding text, filters, transition effects, and much more. Additionally, CapCut allows you to export your videos in various formats suitable for different social platforms.

Music is an essential element in social media videos, and Beatleap is an app that simplifies adding music tracks to your content. You can choose from a vast library of royalty-free songs or upload your own. Beatleap allows you to easily sync music with your videos and add sound effects to create an immersive experience for your audience.

This app was a real discovery for me and deserves a separate lesson because it has so many interesting uses. However, you just need to know that with the pro version, this app edits your videos to the beat of any music track. There aren’t many editing options here, but I must admit that for creating more dynamic stories, it’s a very interesting app. The only drawback is its relatively high price of €39.99 per year. For me, it’s a true lifesaver because it makes my stories dynamic, which would otherwise be less interesting, and creates content on my behalf. It’s a good compromise as it allows me to focus on other things. I recommend using it mainly for stories, which are useful content but only last 24 hours.

In conclusion, these are the lifesaving apps for creating social media content. These valuable tools optimize your time in creating captivating content for social media. With Lightroom, Canva, InShot, CapCut, and Beatleap at your disposal, you can easily create high-quality photos and videos that will capture your audience’s attention and grow your online presence.
